Willie Ferrell (LB, 6'2"), Tallahassee FAMU high school. Chose LSU over Illinois, Maryland and seven other offers.

Kevin Minter (LB, 6'0-1/2", 228), Peachtree, Georgia. Chose LSU over 17 other offers including USC, South Carolina, Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Clemson and West Virginia.

Dexter Pratt
(RB, 6'2", 220, 4.55) from Navasota, Texas. Pratt rushed for over 2,000 yards as a junior and chose LSU over Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Miss State, Nebraska and Missouri.

Chris Garrett
(QB, 6'4", 224, 4.9), highly-touted quarterback from Tupelo. Changed his commitment from Mississippi State to LSU. Garrett chose LSU over offers from FSU, Colorado, Ole Miss, Nebraska and Mississippi State. Garrett threw for 3,278 yardes and 27 touchdowns in 2007.

Russell Shepard
(QB, 6'2", 185), Houston (Cypress Ridge). Runs a 4.4 forty and is rated 5-stars by Scout and Rivals who rate him the number 4 prospect in the country. Chose LSU over 34 other offers including Texas, Florida, Michigan and USC.

Drayton Calhoun
(ATH, 6'1", 175, 4.45) from Tucker, GA. Calhoun attended Junior Day at LSU with his parents and was blown away. He had an impressive list of offers from mostly SEC schools including Georgia and Alabama.

Janzen Jackson
(WR, 6'1", 185) from Barbe high school; No. 11 on my top 100 prospect list.

Joshua Downs (DL, 6'2", 260) from Bastrop; No. 24 on my top 100 prospect list.

Michael Ford (RB, 5'10", 210, 4.4), the No. 4 player on my top 100 prospect list.

Henry Orelus (C, 6'5", 290) from Belle Glades, Florida.

Michael Brockers (6'6", 260), a four-star defensive end from Houston Chavez.
