An Important Message from Dandy Don
DandyDon needs your help.

Those of you who have followed this site for the last several years know the routine. I'm asking you to consider all that you've gained from our daily updates over the years and pledge your financial support.
When we first started this site, we decided not to make it a subscription-only, fee-based service (like many other sporting web sites out there). Instead, we decided to ask you to help ensure this site’s future and continued growth by making a voluntary contribution.
Please don’t underestimate the importance of contributing. There are many expenses involved in maintaining an interactive, timely web site such as this one. Your contributions help to pay for expenses such as hosting, design, travel, and server maintenance. But most of all, your donations help pay for the countless hours invested by our team to provide you with timely reporting and responses to your questions.
Many of you pay $60-$70 per year for subscriptions to weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly periodicals. Many other web sites require membership and charge $5.95 for one month of service. I want to keep this site free of charge to those who simply can’t afford such expenses. Additionally, I consider many of my readers to be the future of LA football - high school students and coaches. I don’t ever want to restrict access to such a valuable audience. That’s why I’ve decided to ask for voluntary contributions.
Why Contribute?
First, and most importantly, there's no better way to show your support and appreciation for the countless hours Scott and I have invested in this site over the past 15 years to help keep the Tiger Nation abreast of LSU sporting news. Second, your donations will make it possible for Scott to invest the time and resources necessary to keep my legacy alive by continuing DandyDon.com for many years to come.
How Much Should I Give?
If you believe that my service is worth about 97¢ a week (about half the cost of a cup of coffee at your favorite coffee house), then please show your support by pledging $50 for a year of Dandy Don. If you are blessed with really deep pockets, then consider giving enough to pick up the tab for many of my contemporaries who live day-to-day on a fixed income. Of course, any amount is appreciated.
In previous years, many of you have shown your appreciation by contributing to my fundraiser. I sincerely thank you and hope you consider it to have been a good investment worthy of renewal.
