The People’s Picks - LA High School Football

How does it work?

It’s simple. Come here each week and pick the winners of high school football games. We'll give props to the person who has the best record each week, and we'll keep track of everyone's record as the season progresses. The we’ll give major props to the person with the best record at the end of the season.

You can make your picks for the curent week’s games, and revise them, up until the voting deadline which will be Thurday at 5 p.m. CT on most weeks. You don't have to pick every game, but we’ll base your ranking on the total number of correct winners you pick (not on the percentage of games you pick right). In other words, don’t just pick the easy ones and expect to be the leader.

Are there prizes?

No, this game is just for fun – and bragging rights.

What if I don't want to pick the games, but I want to see this week's schedule?

Hey, no problem. Consider this the easiest, most complete resource on the internet for viewing the entire weekly Louisiana High Football Schedule and results. Just click here (or using one of the links at the top of the page) to see the weekly schedule.

A few tips about using the interface:

  • Before making your picks, you can inform yourself by looking at each team’s schedule and previous game results. Just click on a school’s name to see this information.
  • Please note that you can sort the information presented on the schedules by clicking on a column header. For example, you can sort the games alphabetically by home team or away team, or by date, by clicking on the appropriate column header.
  • You can see your results by clicking on the “MY PICKEM RESULTS” link, and you can change your picks up until the voting deadline each week. The deadline is stated at the top of each week’s game listing.
  • You can see the results of all the leaders’ picks by clicking on their name on the leaderboard.
