1. Ricky Dixon, ATH, 6'3", 210, 4.4, East ST John. Dixon will play quarterback at East ST Johns in 2005 and, according to what Coach Dauterive told me, has all the tools to be as good as Ryan Perrilloux but is lacking on experience. If Dixon is willing to play wide receiver in college, I believe he will be an LSU Tiger.

2. Al Woods, DE/DT, 6'5", 325, Elton. A big-time defensive lineman that will be a national recruit. Woods has great spring in his legs and broke two basketball goal this past basketball season while slam dunking. Woods is also an honor student. LSU commitment.

3. Charles Scott, RB, 6'0", 210, 4.5, Jonesboro-Hodge. Charles Scott is a power runner with speed who is very hard to tackle one on one. He has all the tools to be a great college football player. Scott is also an honor student. LSU commitment.

4. Jacob Cutrera, LB, 6'4", 225, Acadiana high school. Cutrera runs a 4.5 forty and is very smart with a strong desire to be the best that he can be. Cutrera will be a national recruit and a strong lean to LSU. LSU commitment.

5. Jared Mitchell, QB/ATH, 6'2", 190, 4.5, Westgate. Mitchell will play quarterback at Westgate in 2005, but will likely play wide receiver in college. He is projected to be a very early selection in the June MLBD.

6. Jai Eugene, CB, 5'11", 170, 4.5, Destrehan. Eugene is one of two great cover cornerbacks in state and will be very highly recruited. I believe it will be an LSU-Miami battle for his services.

7. Zhamal Thomas, OL, 6'4", 320, New Iberia. Thomas  is a super prospect, but has work to do in the classroom.

8. Chris Mitchell, WR, 6'2", 195, 4.5, John Ehret. Big and strong with good speed. In my opinion, Chris Mitchell is the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the state of Louisiana.

9. Chris Brown, RB, 5'11", 195, 4.5, Alexandria Senior High. Brown caught the eyes of many major college scouts in 2004 who went to scout blue chip defensive back Nic Harris. Brown has great speed and balance.

10. Shomari Clemmons, SS/LB, 6'2", 210, 4.5, West Monroe. Clemmons has all the tools to be a great college player if he learns to play hard every play. I believe he will play strong safety in college. LSU commitment.

11. Richard Murphy, RB, 6'0", 190, 4.45, Rayville. Murphy will be very highly recruited if he recovers 100 percent from the torn ACL he suffered in the eighth game of his junior season. LSU commitment.

12. Troy Giddens, LB, 6'1", 205, 4.5, Hammond. Giddens is a very physical player with great foot speed. He is from the same mold as Brian Duncan. LSU commitment.

13. Jarrod Shaw, DT, 6'5", 290, Northside. Shaw has the potential to be a highly recruited player in 2005 if he continues to get better. I like LSU's chances of signing him.

14. William Griffin, RB/ATH, 5'10", 185, 4.5, Patterson. A very physical player with a good blood line. Griffin is a close relative of former LSU running back Dalton Hilliard.

15. Chaz Washington, DT, 6'4", 307, 5.0, Destrehan. I was told by one of the state's top high school coaches that Washington was ready to play 1-A college football as a sophomore in high school. Strong lean to LSU.

16. Dan Kreamer, FS, 6'1", 200, 4.55, Evangel. Kreamer is a fierce competitor and is very physical. Strong lean to LSU.

17. Jamaal Thompson, OL, 6'6", 305, East ST John. Has great quickness for a player his size and could be a dominating offensive lineman in college. Thompson needs to have a good year in the classroom.

18. Mark Snyder, TE, 6'6", 245, Brother Martin. Snyder came on strong at the end of the 2004 high school season and should have a great senior season.

19. Jonathan Hollis, LB, 6'3", 230, 4.7, Redemptorist. Big, strong and fast. Hollis might play defensive end in college. He can write his own ticket if he improves his academic standing in the classroom.

20. Tyler Unsworth, OL/DL, 6'7", 275, Northshore. He has a body that is capable of adding more weight and not affecting his speed.

21. Brian Duncan, LB, 6'1", 210, 4.5, Tara. Duncan can flat out play the game and will be a national recruit. I like LSU's chances.

22. Darius Smith, LB, 6'2", 225, East Jefferson. The best of four major college prospects on the East Jefferson team.

23. David Boyce, DE/TE, 6'7", 240, ST Paul. Boyce has a great frame and could become a big-time defensive end in college or a big-time TE.

24. Lance Lacoste, WR, 6'2", 185, Holy Cross. Good hands and runs good pass routes. Lacoste will be highly recruited.

25. Wes Tunufi Sauvao, DT, 6'4", 250, Leesville. Wes is very strong and very quick.

25. (tie) Devarin Gerald, OL/DL, 6'3-1/2", 285, Scotlandville . Gerald had a great junior season and is projected to have a great senior season. He is also an honor student.

26. Doug Stroud, OL, 6'7", 330, Evangel. Stroud is a big-time prospect, but having to play down in class 1-A will not expose him as a national recruit as much as I would like.

27. Blake Ramsey, DL, 6'2", 280, Covington. Ramsey reminds many of Kyle Williams when he was in high school.

28. Kentrell Lockett, DE, 6'4", 220, Hahnville. Lockett will need a redshirt year to get bigger and stronger in college, but has a lot of upside.

29. Larry Brewer, OL, 6'7", 310, Slidell. Brewer has good size and good work habits and has a chance to become a very special player. He needs to improve his GPA.

30. Lazaricus Livingston, DE, 6'4", 260, Ruston. Livingston is a great pass rusher and has great foot speed. He only played in two games as a junior because of a leg injury. LSU commitment.
