Dandy Don’s
Preseason Top Prospects in Louisiana
Class of 2007

Updated 7/18/06

1. Will Blackwell, DE, 6'5", 290, 4.9, West Monroe. Blackwell has the size and speed that all major colleges are looking for in a player and will be a national recruit. LSU is in great shape with Blackwell.

1. (tie) Joe Mc Knight, CB, 6'0", 190, 4.4, John Curtis. McKnight is not only the best defensive back in the state, he is also one of the top kick and punt return players in the nation. McKnight will be one of the most highly recruited players in the nation in 2006. LSU will have a lot of work to do before signing McKnight.

2. Steffond Francois, ATH , 6'2", 205, 4.4, East ST John. Francois could play several positions in college but will likely play strong safety. Francois is a good friend of Ryan Perrilloux and Ricky Dixon.

4. John Williams, ATH, 5'10", 190, 4.45, Breaux Bridge. Williams is a younger cousin of former LSU running back Domanick Davis. LSU should be in good shape with Williams.
